Does the Glasses Spacer leave my prescription glasses covered in small scratches? +
No. The part that touches the prescription lenses is soft silicone. It will not scratch the prescription lenses.
Does this affect the field of view? +
No. It only adds 3.2mm.
What should I do if I find that I can't mount it and there is a large gap between the lens and the glasses spacer? +

The gap is large because it is not fully aligned. You can move the glasses spacer slightly from side to side until the gap becomes smaller.
